Eoghan McDermott, RTÉ 2fm, said: "It's great that 'Picture This' are the first track on this years CEOL album. ‘Take My Hand’ is nominated for Best Irish Song in the RTÉ Choice Music Prize. This year the guys signed to Republic Records, home of Drake, Ariana Grande and The Weeknd. Picture This are performing at Longitude, they have sold out shows all across Ireland and the UK and even in New York, they are recording currently in Nashville, yet they have still found the time to launch the album with us. It was only in May of last year that the first radio play of 'Take My Hand' was on my show from a Roadcaster in Clonmel, now that song is the first song on CEOL 2017 'Tóg Mo Lámh'. In addition to Picture This we have great line-up of chart-topping Irish and international acts on CEOL 2017 this year and it’s absolutely awesome."

Julian de Spáinn, Conradh na Gaeilge, said: "We’re delighted to have Eoghan McDermott and 2fm working with us on the CEOL 2017 album again this year. It’s amazing to have so many fantastic artists recording as Gaeilge including Walking on Cars, Gavin James and The Blizzards. We even have some friends from abroad including Gabrielle Aplin from England and Matt Simons from the US. Seachtain na Gaeilge is all about showing that anyone can use the Irish language and CEOL 2017 shows that this is more than possible!"
